From the mahogany forest of Manyara to the crater rim, the Serengeti and a private island — here is how your days unfold.
Day 1
Arriving in Tanzania, you transfer to the hidden Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, deep in a mahogany forest. Settle into your canopy treehouse suite, then an afternoon game drive down to the soda lake for elephant and flamingo.
Day 2
A full day at Manyara — seek the famous tree-climbing lions, revel in some of Tanzania’s finest birding, and explore the groundwater forest on a guided walk or e-bike. Dinner is served high among the treetops.
Day 3
A scenic drive up through the highlands to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater and its theatrical lodge. Settle into your opulent suite with its fireplace and butler, and dine by the fire as mist rolls over the caldera.
Day 4
Descend at dawn onto the crater floor — an extraordinary day among lion, elephant, flamingo and the rare black rhino in one of the wildlife wonders of the world. Later, a warm Maasai cultural visit on the highlands, then crater-rim sundowners.
Day 5
A scenic flight out onto the legendary Serengeti. Settle into your elegant camp, and head out on an evening game drive across the golden plains, sundowners in hand.
Days 6 – 7
Two full days to savour the Serengeti — twice-daily game drives for lion, leopard and cheetah (and the migration in season), an optional dawn hot air balloon safari with champagne breakfast, and a private bush dinner beneath a sky thick with stars.
Day 8
A flight from the plains to Zanzibar, then a short boat transfer to exclusive Mnemba Island. Your barefoot-luxury banda opens straight onto the sand — the afternoon is yours for a first swim in the turquoise lagoon.
Days 9 – 10
