The Journey

After an arrival night in Arusha, you fly out onto the legendary Serengeti, settling into an intimate tented camp on the plains for four unhurried nights of game drives, sundowners and starlit dinners.
Then it is wheels-up for the spice island of Zanzibar, where four days at Zuri on the north coast mean nothing more taxing than choosing between the pool, the reef and the hammock. Few changes, two superb settings, and all the time in the world to simply be together.
Begin gently. After the long flight, a graceful garden lodge near Mount Meru lets you rest and share a quiet first dinner before flying out onto the Serengeti the next morning.

From the endless Serengeti to the white sand of Zanzibar — here is how your days unfold.
Day 1
Met at Kilimanjaro International and transferred to a graceful garden lodge in the coffee country near Mount Meru. Settle in, enjoy a first dinner and rest — your honeymoon begins.
Day 2
A morning light-aircraft flight out onto the legendary Serengeti. Settle into your canvas suite, and head out on your first game drive across the golden plains at golden hour, sundowners in hand.
Days 3 – 4
Two full days to savour the Serengeti — twice-daily game drives for lion, leopard and cheetah (and the migration in season), an optional dawn hot air balloon safari with champagne breakfast, and a private bush dinner under a sky thick with stars.
Day 5
Your last full day on the plains, at your own pace — a morning drive, perhaps a guided nature walk, and a lazy afternoon watching the wildlife from camp. One last sundowner on the Serengeti before you turn towards the sea.
Day 6
A scenic flight from the plains to the spice island of Zanzibar. Your bright beachfront villa at Zuri awaits on the north coast — the afternoon is yours for a first swim and a spectacular sunset over the ocean.
Days 7 – 9
Three days of pure island time — snorkel the reef, sail a sunset dhow, surrender to a spa treatment by the sea, wander Stone Town and a spice farm, or simply do nothing at all. Candlelit seafood dinners with your toes in the sand close each day.
Day 10
A relaxed final morning by the sea before your transfer to Zanzibar airport and your onward international flight — the plains in your memory, the ocean on your skin, and a marriage begun exactly as it should.
