Then a light aircraft carries you west to the legendary Maasai Mara, to Mara Plains Camp in the game-rich Olare Motorogi Conservancy. Days are spent tracking lion, leopard and cheetah with your private guide, far from the main reserve’s crowds. Every flight, every drive and every candlelit dinner is arranged in advance — so your only task is to be together.

Day 1
Arriving into Nairobi, you connect to a light-aircraft flight to the Chyulu Hills, touching down on ol Donyo’s airstrip by early afternoon. Settle into your open suite, cool off in your private plunge pool, and watch the light change over Kilimanjaro as your first evening unfolds.
Day 2
This morning, ride out on a horseback safari among giraffe and zebra, or explore by mountain bike. After a lazy lunch and a swim, spend the golden hour at the sunken elephant hide, eye-to-eye with giants, before dinner under the stars.
Day 3
A guided walk through the lava hills, time at the pool, and a visit to the local Maasai community. Tonight is the one you will always remember — your bed made up on the rooftop star deck, falling asleep in each other’s arms beneath the Milky Way.
Day 4
A final full day in the Chyulus to do as you please — one more ride, a game drive in search of lion, or simply your suite, your pool and the view. A quiet, romantic last evening with Kilimanjaro glowing pink at sunset.
Day 5
After breakfast you fly via Nairobi to the Maasai Mara, landing in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy by early afternoon. Mara Plains welcomes you with a cool drink, then your first game drive through big-cat country as the day softens into evening sundowners.
Day 6
Out at dawn with your private guide to find the Mara’s famous predators — lion prides, a cheetah on a termite mound, perhaps a leopard draped in a tree. Back for brunch and a rest, then out again, free to off-road and follow the light in the private conservancy.
Day 7
A morning bush walk on foot with your Maasai guide, reading tracks and the smaller wonders of the savanna. After dark, a night drive reveals the Mara’s nocturnal hunters — a thrill reserved for conservancy guests — before a private dinner back at camp.
Day 8
Your final full day in the wild, at your own rhythm — a last drive in search of whatever you have yet to see, long siestas, and a special private farewell dinner under the Mara sky to close your safari.
